    moments of satisfaction

    Classes are done for the day. There’s a small lull between finishing my last class and hometime (around 4:30) that always gives me a sense of raw, unbridled satisfaction. Even if I had a bad day of classes, or something didn’t go right (does it ever really completely go ‘right’?), as long as I’m done, I’m feeling better. I can gather my composure and let my brain catch a breath.

    I also take this time to peruse the different blogs that are haunting the weblines, check email, face the book, and check the news.

    FUNNY:

    Some students who are in the English Newspaper club gave me a set of questions they want me to answer for a teacher interview. My favorite question:

    8). They say you eat lunch alone. is it true?

    LOLZ, You fookin kids.

    AWESOME:

    Is every other teacher in Seoul getting most of Wednesday and all of Thursday off? These types of short notice holidays seriously make up for all the days where they pull extra classes or strange Saturdays on you just 10 minutes after you get to school in the morning.

    Also, at my school, they’re adding a small weight lifting center in the gym, about which I am stoked like bicycle spoke.
